We like to come to the Berger Stadtschänke very often. Very good food and drink in a quaint, beautiful restaurant. Udo (the host) is a real Berger original. His sayings regularly lift the mood. It can be quite busy on some evenings - reservations recommended. In summer there is also a small courtyard where you can sit.

Really well-tapped beer, you can hardly find it today. I like to eat chanterelles and they were available in several dishes. It tasted very good and I can only warmly recommend the restaurant because of the very friendly and quick service.

Food nice 1 liter stein of beer 8 euro. ..mmmmm

Very delicious food and a courteous host

Quaint pub. I had cordon bleu with fries and salad. The french fries were very greasy and not crunchy, the cordon bleu went like that. For the price of 16 euros with drink that is just ok. The salad was good. I would rather pay a little more if it tastes good. I will not come to dinner anymore.

So the atmosphere is quaint and you can sit outside very nicely. The food was also good and the price accordingly. However, the host did not seem to like us. I was there twice, eaten each time and made reasonable sales and we were friendly too. The host, sorry has nothing more to do with Hessian Schlapmaul, really snippy and unfriendly, I do not know what we have done. That's a pity, then I'll go to the Italians next door. At least they know how to behave.

Small and cozy. Very good rumpsteak and ice-cream made with house plum snack

Great food. The freshly pulled breakfast tastes especially good with the kölschen humor of the host. A piece of home is not just where the cathedral is. Again and again.
